What will this role achieve?
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of our products. You will provide insightful financial analysis and support to various departments, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, ensuring data-driven decision-making and the achievement of strategic objectives and benchmarking, and above all building marketing leading brands that people talk about!
What will be your key deliverables?
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support commercial decision-making specific to the industry.
* Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability of products.
* Analyse sales performance, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth in the sector.
* Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and profitability assessments.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes tailored to FMCG operations.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to FMCG to provide actionable insights.
* Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals for new projects.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Bring your experience
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (a relevant master's degree or professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA is a plus).
* Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the FMCG industry.
* Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
* Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP).
