Job Title: HR Officer Location: Speke, Liverpool with requirement to travel to Croxteth and Fazakerley when required Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid Salary: Grade 6, £34,414 to £38,626 MLK Education Search are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to join specialist school based in Speke. Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively at all levels, adhering to local authority regulations. Provide HR guidance to management, departments, and staff. Represent the school as needed. Manage and initiate change within the school. Ensure the school responds to external changes and improves service quality. Provide HR advice and leadership, including legal advice and employee relations. Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. Network with external partners for HR-related activities. Participate in and chair meetings. Liaise with supply agencies for services. Maintain the HR database and related processes. Manage HR and payroll interfaces, absence management, and disciplinary procedures. Prepare documentation for hearings. Plan personal and professional development. Lead by example, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines. Respond to stakeholder needs and provide leadership. Engage and motivate staff, fostering a team spirit. Develop collaborative working relationships.
