As a thriving Acute Medicine team, we are looking for a 29 hours per week, Senior OT to join our service at Hinchingbrooke Hospital to cover maternity leave for 12 months from 10thFebruary 2025. With a variety of specialties including Medicine for Older People, Oncology, Renal, Gastroenterology, every day is different.

· To enable OT to provide Therapy Skills within the inpatient service in the Specialist field
· To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focussed care in line with identified evidence based practice, local and national standards
· To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams
· To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team
· To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have a complex presentation
· To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole in patient team
· To undertake weekend working as required within service developments
· To be available to provide Clinical Supervision
· This role entails 90% Clinical Contact and 10% Operational Management as appropriate within team requirements
· To guide Band 5 and support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans
· To support delivery of 7-day working
