GRAHAM Construction are pleased to have an opening for a Banksman, to join our team on a large, high value Belfast City Centre project.
We are interested in speaking with experienced, safety-conscious candidates who will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and machinery on our construction sites. Along with excellent communication skills, the successful candidate will hold relevant Banksman certification as well as a valid Forklift truck licence.
This contract is full time, fixed term for 12 months.
Expected duties:
* Directing the movement of vehicles and machinery on site.
* Operating and driving forklift truck.
* Communicating clearly with drivers and machine operators to ensure safe operations.
* Ensuring that all site traffic adheres to safety regulations.
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
* Conducting regular safety checks and reporting any hazards.
* Coordinating with site managers and other team members to maintain a safe working environment.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Banksman for a Construction company.
* Valid Banksman certification.
* Valid Forklift truck licence.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* High level of attention to detail and safety awareness.
* Valid CSCS card.
Desirable Criteria:
* Additional certifications in health and safety.
* Familiarity with various types of construction machinery.
