The Team Leader provides a key role within the manufacturing function of the Company and the role is responsible for supervising factory employees & managing the daily jobs and workload.
Rotational shift working 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm. £15.18 per hour, plus 18% shift premium.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for supervising and motivating the factory team to ensure all tasks are completed in line with the production plan;
2. Implementation of the daily jobs list and work load schedule to ensure delivery dates and targets are met;
3. Responsible for completing the required paperwork on a daily basis;
4. Responsible for ensuring that H&S is adhered to at all times, reporting any incidents to the Production Manager or HSE Manager;
5. Responsible for completing first aid course and providing first aid if required;
6. Ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times, reporting any issues to the Production Manager;
7. Identify any training requirements and assisting with the training of new factory employees;
8. Identify any improvements within the Factory & suggesting these to management;
9. Key part of the monthly stock take process;
10. Daily communication with management, reporting any issues which have arisen;
11. Willingness to participate in training, such as fire Marshall training, forklift training.
12. Co-ordinate start-ups, shut down and change overs ensuring that teams commence working at their scheduled shift times.
13. Responsibility for opening and securing the premises.
14. Any other duties as assigned by the management team, in order to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications/Skills:
1. Previous supervisory/training experience.
2. Upbeat, ‘can-do’ attitude.
3. Organised.
4. Excellent communication skills.
