Ourclient based in Hampshire (GU post code) is an industry leadinggear manufacturing company. Their customers are in the AerospaceDefence & OEM markets. They are looking to employ on afulltime permanent basis an experienced CNCProduction Technician.

CNCProduction TechnicianResponsibilities
Operatemachines; gear cutting turning lapping grinding &deburring;
Aid/ Change machine setting from one job to another within a set timeframe;
Ability to readand understand drawings;
Change andadjust machine parameters and tooling as required to meetdimensional and output requirements;
Able to usemicrometres verniers and other inspection equipment to check workto drawing dimensions and validation sheets;
Applyappropriate deburring in accordance with the design specifications;
Setting andrunning multiple machines when the component and/or batch sizesallow;
Meet desiredquantities conducting inprocess inspection and checking againstdrawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately andto the highest standards;
Work inaccordance to the quality system and processes of the company;
Bepunctual at all times;
Adhere to thecompany s health and safety requirements and complete training asrequired.
CNCProduction TechnicianRequirements
Relevantexperience in engineering and working in a similar industry.
Strong knowledgeof CNC machine setup andoperation
3 5years relevant experience in a similar industry/role.
Theability to read technical / mechanical drawings.
Ability to use arange of measuringequipment
Beable to work effectively individually and as part of a team to meettargetdeadlines.
