We are seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Asset Manager to join our expanding team and contribute to the continued success of the business.
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Asset Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the asset management team to maximise the value and performance of a diverse property portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
Support the Asset Management team in the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets.
Assist with the development and execution of asset strategies to optimise value and performance.
Help analyse and monitor financial performance, including rental income, operating costs, and capital expenditure.
Prepare financial reports, business plans, and performance summaries for senior management and stakeholders.
Assist in the leasing process, including tenant negotiations and lease renewals.
Work closely with external property managers, contractors, and service providers to ensure the smooth running of properties.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support decision-making.
Help with the due diligence process for acquisitions and disposals.
Support the wider team on ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Skills & Experience Required:
A degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Some previous experience within asset management, property management, or a related real estate function is desirable.
Strong analytical and financial skills with a good understanding of property valuation, investment performance, and financial modelling.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
A proactive and motivated approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with property management software is an advantage. Why Join?
