I am looking for an Au Pair to join my little family. Start date is flexible, you can move right away or up until the beginning of January 2025. Im a single working Mum and often feel overwhelmed with the workload of being a Mum, taking care of the home, 2 dogs, a baby and managing my work schedule. Ive had a nanny helping me with my son for the past 18 months and it works great, but it makes more sense to have someone live with us as I have plenty of room, and need the extra help. I work remotely, so I am mostly at home, but I just really need an extra set of hands. Your main role will be playing with and caring for my son while I work. Id also like basic cleaning around the house, cookingpreparing food for my son, occasionally taking the dogs on a quick walk, occasionally picking up some groceries etc. You will have plenty of downtime and youll have privacy too because your room is separate to the main house (the garage has been renovated and converted into a new massive bedroom and has ACHeating). I work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from around 6am till midday as well as some extra hours here and there when I can squeeze them in. Work schedule would look something like this: Monday 8am till 3pm, Tuesday 7am till midday, Thursday 7am till midday, Friday 7am till midday, Saturday OR Sunday 3 or 4 hours (we can discuss this further and I can be somewhat flexible). I am looking for someone to work 30 hours a week. Your rent, utilities and basic food will be included - Ive worked that out to be about $500 value a week as the room would easily rent out for $350 a week. I will also pay you $250 a week cash. I am looking for somebody kind, friendly, mature and responsible, but who knows how to have fun with a little one. You must be extremely patient, soft and nurturing but also assertive. Some firmness will be necessary at times - like with getting my son to eat, or clean up after making a mess etc. My son will think you are family so I need somebody understanding of that. Its important that you have some experience caring for babies and toddlers, including knowing basic First Aid. I am hoping for a caregiver who can use their initiative to help out when they notice things need to be cleaned, or washed etc rather than me having to ask for help. We are a very friendly and easy-going little family.
