These are pivotal roles in maintaining and improving the council's housing stock, ensuring high standards of property management, repairs, and maintenance across a portfolio of 5,000 homes. About the Role As a Senior Property Surveyor, you will be responsible for: Leading on surveying functions, ensuring repairs and maintenance projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage and mentor a team of Property Surveyors and Trainee Surveyors. Oversee contractor performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide expert advice on damp, condensation, leaks, and structural issues. Work closely with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and resident experience. What We're Looking For A professional qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, or a related field (MRICS, MCIOB preferred). Proven experience managing repairs and maintenance services in residential buildings. Strong contract and budget management skills, with experience overseeing large-scale projects.
