My client, a leader in Software Development, are looking for an experienced Jira Engineer to support on an ITSM Migration. This will be for an initial 3 month contract on an OUTSIDE IR35 basis.
Objective:
Migrate the existing IT Service Management (ITSM) platform from ManageEngine On-Premises to Jira Cloud to leverage AI-powered service automation and improve IT service efficiency.
Key Considerations:
* Migration Planning: Assess data migration needs, including ticket history, workflows, and automation rules from ManageEngine to Jira Cloud.
* AI-Driven Automation: Utilise Jira Service Management's AI capabilities for automated ticket classification, intelligent routing, and chatbot-driven self-service.
* Integration & Customisation: Ensure seamless integration with existing IT tools (e.g., CMDB, monitoring, identity management). Customise workflows to match business processes.
* User Experience & Adoption: Design a user-friendly interface with minimal disruption, provide training for IT teams and end-users.
* Security & Compliance: Ensure data protection, role-based access control, and compliance with IT governance policies.
* Performance & Scalability: Optimise for cloud-based service management efficiency, ensuring scalability as IT support needs evolve.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Experience with ITSM migrations, particularly from ManageEngine to Jira Cloud.
* Strong expertise in Jira Service Management and AI-powered automation tools.
* Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service automation strategies.
* Familiarity with cloud-based ITSM security and compliance considerations
