Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join the friendly, busy physiotherapy outpatient service, at Falmouth Community Hospital, as a member of our Admin and Clerical team. The main role is to provide administrative cover to busy outpatient physiotherapy departments along with some patient facing reception duties. We also provide support to the Countywide MSK Physiotherapy service by accepting referrals via the electronic referral system (ers) and uploading to our RIO system. The role involves managing referrals, organising clinics, booking and rearranging appointments, sending appointment letters, making and receiving telephone calls and emails to organise appointments, ordering of equipment and office supplies. You will need to be computer literate. You will be required to work using your own initiative within a busy team, with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work. You may be asked to cover at other departments if the need arises. Main duties of the job Responsible for day-to-day administration and clerical support, booking patient appointments and managing clinical diaries. Face to face reception duties for MSK Physiotherapy. Carry out data entry to support the clinical team. Managing Referrals using the electronic referral system, Input all data on Rio, registration, activity and triage codes.
