PS Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team based in Wymondham on a full or part time, permanent basis. This role can be full or part time depending on the candidate. Main Responsibilities: Building and maintaining great relationships with clients, helping them run a slick finance operation and answering their queries day-to-day. Keeping the client's accounts up to date, so they always know how their business is performing and can make key decisions. Processing management journals, such as prepayments, depreciation and accrued/deferred income. Experience in running monthly reports and preparing Management Accounts. Experience completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and monthly management reports is essential. Good VAT knowledge, including preparing monthly VAT returns and ensuring deadlines are met. Good payroll knowledge, processing of weekly and monthly payroll in additional to monthly CIS Returns. Using cloud-based software such as Xero, as well as packages such as Microsoft Excel. Qualifications and Experience: A high level of bookkeeping knowledge and expertise. Knowledge of Xero (desirable). An understanding of other Xero apps. Proven experience, either in an accountancy practice or in industry. An AAT/CIMA qualification (desirable). A positive collaborative team working approach. Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a changing workload. Working Hours & Benefits: Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 17:00.
