We are looking for a Part Time HR Advisor to join our client based in Huddersfield. This is a newly created role as the HR function was previously managed through a centralised team. In order to better support their employees, the company is looking for a HR professional to be based on site 2-3 days per week. This role forms part of the senior leadership team and will be an integral part of the business growth. Main duties:
* Supporting with performance reviews
* Managing disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Holiday and absence management
* Processing new starter and leaver documentation
* Implement company standards and best practice
* Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business
* Support with payroll and manage any payroll queries
* Adhoc generalist HR duties
We are looking for:
* Sound knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* CIPD level 5 would be an advantage, however we will consider applications from those who are qualified by experience
* Someone who can handle sensitive information and reduce risk for the business
* The ability to deliver feedback in a clear and constructive way
