The Recruitment Team at NHS England (NHSE), are looking for a 2 new Recruitment Assistants to join their high performing Rotherham based team on fixed term contracts.
Working in our centralised team, the post holder will provide an effective and efficient onboarding service to NHSE for all staff groups across NHSE, ensuring that all information leaving the department is to quality standards and in line with NHSEâs policies and procedures.
As a Recruitment Assistant you will be committed to providing a first class onboarding service and will be the first point of contact for recruiting managers and applicants for recruitment activity.
The role is busy and your days will be varied and will include:
Preparing and issuing conditional offer letters
Requesting and completing pre-employment checks including ID calls
Regular review of own case load to ensure KPI are met
Preparing and issuing contracts and addendums
Preparing and submitting payroll forms
Completing new starter administration including CSD calculations and recording of pre-employment checks in ESR.
Maintaining regular contact with recruiting managers and applicants by telephone and video call

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 3 with a full-time starting salary of £22,816 per annum with a pay step increase after 2 yearsâ service.
These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the NHSE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
