Job Description
We work with ASOSers across finance and the business to bring together a clear view of our financial performance and what we need to plan for in the future. We support senior leaders across ASOS to make good decisions, providing high-quality insights, working on a range of exciting projects and key strategic programmes. We challenge and support the business to maintain control of our operating costs, ensuring we’re efficient as a business and deliver profit.
What you’ll be doing:
* Process Automation & Efficiency: Utilise PowerBI, SQL, Excel, and other existing tools to streamline and automate finance processes, reducing manual work and enhancing accuracy.
* Best Practice & Governance: Ensure data integrity, maintain best practices in system use, and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and planning processes.
* Training & Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert within FP&A, upskilling the team and improving understanding of existing and new systems.
* Technology Roadmap Development: Research and evaluate new FP&A tools and technologies, assessing their potential impact and benefits to the finance function.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Work closely with finance leadership and other stakeholders to drive adoption of new solutions, ensuring smooth implementation and integration.
* Team and leadership: Recruit and line manage a new SFA – Finance Transformation role; ensuring they have a great onboarding process and support their ongoing development to drive a high-performing team.
Qualifications
About You
* Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with exposure to a range of finance disciplines.
* Experienced business partner, working with senior leaders with a demonstrable ability to influence and drive positive outcomes.
* Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively build productive relationships across finance teams.
* Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level alongside an appreciation of other FP&A and financial reporting solutions.
* Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to produce high quality professional reporting for senior executives.
