Reporting to the Sales Director, Media, Broadcast & Emerging Tech, you will focus on developing our business with both the well-established Media & Broadcast accounts as well as looking out to see who the new entrants/next targets should be!
Working in an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to help plan and sell large European Network requirements (100G/400G). You will work across various European markets with Global entities that have presence across our footprint, hitting sales and revenue Targets and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
You will have the support of our excellent Sales Engineering team, with multiple engineers, plus additional account support, available for these accounts. You will work closely with our Network Development, Digital Enablement and Product teams in order to achieve your goals, and have the opportunity to form multiple, strong relationships within the customers. Preferred locations is London, with domestic and occasional international travel as required.
What will you be doing?
* Work with the Sales Director to replicate some of the successes we have had in the Media sector in the UK and the rest of Europe.
* Build on existing strong relationships with our key purchasers and influencers within our current customer base to expand direct infrastructure and grow wallet share.
* Bringing insight into our customer base from knowledge of the market.
* Understanding the market and the players and who the potential new entrants may be.
* Understand how the Media & Broadcast verticals are evolving, ensuring euNetworks develops network, solutions and a Joint Value Proposition to match.
* Work with our commercial and finance teams to build successful business cases.
* Effectively and efficiently manage sales activity through Salesforce.com, paying particular attention to data integrity.
Team structure:
You will be part of the Media, Broadcast & Gaming team looking after some of the largest Global Media & Gaming customers.
You will receive guidance from the Sales Director who looks after the wider team & have a dedicated Sales Engineer to work alongside.
What do we want from you?
* Significant Sales experience including several years in relevant Media & Broadcast.
* An entrepreneurial mindset to approach challenges with new thinking, ownership and drive.
* A track record of achievement in terms of customer satisfaction and hitting financial targets.
* Experience managing accounts in the Media & Broadcast space.
* Effective people management skills, including successfully leading virtual teams.
* Effective communication skills with customers, colleagues and partners.
* Great organisation skills and attention to detail.
* Self-starter, with enthusiasm for building multiple relationships with our customers.
* Good overview of the European business telecoms market, particularly in terms of Media & Broadcast.
Ideally, we’d also like:
* University degree in Engineering, preferably Electronic or similar.
* Strong knowledge of Media ecosystems, including latest developments.
