Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students Help students to develop their academic, social, and personal skills Provide one-on-one support to students as needed Assist with classroom management and behaviour management Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Experience working with children or young adults Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Relevant training or qualifications in learning support or special education Experience: Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning difficulties and disabilities Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Work environment: Classroom setting within a school May require the ability to lift and carry equipment or assist students with mobility All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
