The Role: We are on the lookout for an experienced and driven Senior Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of sponsorship packages, hosted meetings, and exhibition stands for both PI LIVE Europe and PI LIVE USA. Your expertise will help shape the success of our flagship events, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximise sponsorship, hosted meeting packages, dinners and exhibition stand sales for both PI LIVE Europe and PI LIVE USA. Client Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their business objectives and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs. Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform your sales tactics and strategies. Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets, contributing to the overall financial success of both events. Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management, including detailed sales reports, pipeline analysis, and forecasts. Collaboration: Work closely with the events, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables. Travel: Attend PI LIVE USA in Florida as part of your role, assisting with client management, re-books and on-site support. About You: You'll be a great rapport builder, possess a great consultative sales approach, with solid objection handling skills, and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get the job done. You’ll be hungry to ensure you are very much part of the community to which we serve - with an appetite to meet clients, attend 3rd party events and become the ‘face’ of the shows you represent. Experience: A minimum of 4 years in B2B event sales, particularly in selling sponsorships, exhibitions, or hosted meetings. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a solid network within the events or marketing sectors. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations. Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships. Analytical: Confident use of CRMs (we use Hubspot) and not afraid to analyse data to capitalise on trends. Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Proactive: A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
