ABOUT THE ROLE
I am looking for a Personal Assistant to join my existing team to support me within my own home as well as out in the community. I am a charming, outgoing, active young gentleman living in my fully adapted flat with my carers, but I also spend time at home with my parents over the weekends.
I have Cerebral Palsy and require 24-hour care. I need support with all tasks of daily living, such as personal care, food preparation, transfers via a hoist, social and emotional support. I would like a carer who would fit in my existing care team and who will support me to lead an independent and fulfilling life. I enjoy listening to music, bingo and going to meet my friends.

I am looking for individuals with a caring, patient nature to join my team and get to know me, understanding my needs. You need to be honest, calm and have a good sense of humor and a zest for life. Being a good English speaker is an essential skill for this post and although training and previous experience will be an advantage, it is not essential, as full training will be given.
