Job Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for working with people in their own communities. We are looking for a new member of our Wilder Communities Team who enjoys connecting people with wildlife, listening to their aspirations and helping them turn ideas for nature’s recovery into reality.
Responsibilities
1. This role will work with communities in market towns across rural Dorset, with an initial strong focus on communities associated with the River Allen in east Dorset.
2. You will raise the profile of the River Allen and its wonderful wildlife.
3. Identify community stakeholders, organise events and consultations.
4. Help prepare a Stakeholder Engagement Plan for the River Allen Landscape Recovery project.
5. Engage with art groups and established environmental groups on wildlife-related activities.
Qualifications

This post is offered at 28 hours per week (although less hours are negotiable, minimum 21) as a 1 year fixed term contract with possibility of extension.
