Post Title: Learning & Development Adviser (Career Coach)
Location: Highland Council Headquarters, Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £34,034 - £38,056 per annum
Job Purpose:
1. To support the development and implementation of a Career Hub for all employees in The Highland Council.
2. To design, deliver and evaluate training and qualifications for learners and contribute to training needs analysis to meet Council priorities and support strategic programmes and initiatives.
3. To develop programmes of training, including e-Learning design, and deliver sessions face to face and digitally to meet identified needs of staff.
4. To develop coaching opportunities and other designated activities to enhance employee career progression for Highland Council employees.
5. You will work as part of a small team to support business improvement and deliver an efficient and effective service.

Requirements
1. Willing to undertake CPD to develop skills and knowledge across new subject areas.
2. Hold or willing to work towards Level 3 SVQ in Learning and Development (or equivalent).
