Teacher / Tutor – Alternative Provision Huddersfield Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS / QTLS and recent UK based experience teaching within school, college setting or AP. We must be able to obtain up to date references from these roles. The Role An exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher (from any sector) to join this alternative provision in a teacher or tutor role. (QTS and QTLS considered) We are seeking a strong practitioner with presence and confidence, an interest and passion for working with learners who face or may have encountered personal, social, emotional mental health or educational challenges. You will have an aspirational mindset for your students; the freedom and autonomy to tailor your curriculum to the needs and interests of your learners; and the professional confidence to do this. This is initially a temporary assignment that will become permanent for the right candidate. Alternatively a 1 year fixed term contract may be offered. The School The successful candidate will be working with Key Stage 4 students supported by a wider class team including an Inclusion Worker and Teaching Assistant.
