Renewable Energy Land Manager
Scotland Office with hybrid working
Salary range of £50,000 - 60,000 dependent on experience
Following a successful expansion into their European and Nordic territories over the past few years, one of the most reputable developers of renewable energy is looking at expansion in their UK division.
Our client has been active in the renewables sector since 2010 and has built up a highly experienced team of professionals in this time. This team, paired with strong and stable investment, has put together a significant pipeline of over 6GW for the development of solar, battery storage, and offshore wind projects.
With team growth planned across the development, operations, and engineering divisions, our client is looking to add a Land Manager to their team to assist on existing projects and drive forward new projects for the business.
Your role within the land team would include:
1. Identifying suitable land for development.
2. Engaging with and managing landowners/stakeholders.
3. Carrying out the commercial negotiations relating to land acquisition.
4. Liaising with the wider team on land matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Over time, this position would offer you the opportunity to:
1. Work on and lead NSIP/DCO scale projects in the renewable energy sector.
2. Have a high level of project ownership and involvement from inception through to completion.
3. Develop into a leadership position as the land team grows, mentoring junior members of the team.
