We are seeking a highly organised and proactive operational support officer to join our District nursing team. This vital role provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of our community nursing services. You will work closely with clinical teams, managers and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient patient care.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience in an administrative or operational support role, ideally within healthcare
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare IT systems
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Provide administrative support to the District nursing team, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data management
* Assist in the delivery of safe and effective clinical services within the Division, ensuring that all targets, deadlines and objectives are delivered as appropriate.
* Contribute to ensuring robust clinical governance systems are in place, which incorporates clinical incidents, claims, complaints, clinical guidelines and procedures
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, management and administration teams on a day-to-day basis
* Provide support for quality, performance, financial targets, operational priorities and service improvement.
* Some line management of administration staff with the DN service as necessary
