Pro-Force are seeking a highly motivated and organised Compliance Officer to join the team on a temporary, fixed term contract. Pro-Force work with some of the most prestigious companies in the country, tailoring recruitment services to client’s needs and finding work for thousands of people all across the UK, EU and the globe as a leading provider of the Seasonal Worker Scheme. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Compliance and Ethics Lead and other Compliance Officers, providing critical support to our regional operations teams and ensuring the company remain compliant with all legislative and ethical guidelines.
Job Summary
Provision of an effective service to all internal and external clients, with a focus on policy implementation, training & development, meeting legislative / regulatory standards and ethical best practice.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Conducting suitable audits and risk assessments on all areas of operations, accommodation and people management in order to highlight issues for change and implement procedures for improvement.
2. Developing and implementing suitable training programmes to equip staff with required skills to perform their roles.
3. Development and maintenance of library of internal controlled documentation, including operational forms and training materials.
4. Support and guidance to all staff and their client base to ensure legislative requirements are adhered to and ethical best practice standards are met and exceeded.
5. Conducting worker surveys and collating feedback.
6. Conducting worker interviews, supporting with investigating complaints and providing support to operational teams as is required.
7. Completing audits, weekly spot checks and reviews on operational departments.
8. Supporting operational teams with completion of action points.
9. Booking and organising training courses and events.
10. Maintenance of records, reports and other internal logs.
General
1. Deliver all activities through strict adherence to applicable legislation and in accordance with Pro-Force policies and procedures.
2. Provide regular timely reports and ad hoc reports as is required to management.
3. Building strong and effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and workers, of all levels of seniority.
4. Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods in order to facilitate the development and profitability of sustainable business relationships.
5. Represent Pro-Force in a professional manner at all times, and treat all clients, customers, colleagues, employees, workers and drivers with dignity and respect, as per Pro-Force’s internal policies.
