Salary: Up to £42,000 DOE plus opportunity to earn £5,000 per annum in bonus!
Hours: 42.5 hours per week plus overtime, shift patterns available.
At our recently renovated Preparation & Service Centre, we are seeking Vehicle Technicians to examine, diagnose, repair, service, and maintain automobiles to a high degree as required by the manufacturers or warranty regulations!
A clear benefit will be having solid diagnostic and electrical system knowledge and skills.
Areas of Responsibility:
• To carry out the company inspection process as detailed on the checklist, noting all areas requiring repair or service.
• To repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process.
• To use the company system to request parts for vehicles.
• To ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment.
• To determine priorities and allocate tasks in liaison with the Supervisor.
• To monitor work, progress and pursue a resolution for any issues, as necessary.
• To advise on best methods of repair and determine repair times in consultation with the Service Manager.
• To ensure daily, weekly, monthly targets are met.
• To inform the Supervisor on non-conforming vehicles or issues arising.
• To communicate with internal teams and departments where necessary.
• To be able to undertake a full range of workshop duties.
