You will be aRegistered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC PIN. You will have knowledge and a skill set of working with this patient group and clinical pathway, including those with a dual diagnosis. Douglas House admits patients under the mental health act, therefore experience of working with detained patients will be essential. Ideally, you will have experience of working with people with illnesses that are psychotic in nature. With at least 5 years experience working in a clinical environment and a demonstrable record of achieving excellence in that environment. You will be committed to coproduction and meaningful service user involvement; you will be able to demonstrate evidence of working collaboratively on all aspect of recovery focused intervention and care, for this SU group. Staff management will be a large part of this role, from rota management, personal staff development to dealing with HR related issues.
