Commercial Gas Engineer Role & Responsibilities:
1. Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial gas systems
2. Diagnose and repair faults in commercial gas heating, boilers, and appliances
3. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company standards
4. Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and safety
5. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete projects efficiently
6. Provide excellent customer service by liaising with clients and offering tailored gas solutions
7. Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out
8. Assist with the commissioning of new systems and upgrades to existing systems
9. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
10. Stay up-to-date with industry changes and new technologies
11. Mentor and support junior team members when needed
Commercial Gas Engineer Skills & Experience:
1. Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (essential)
2. Commercial Gas Qualifications
3. Extensive experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial gas systems
4. In-depth knowledge of commercial heating systems, boilers, and associated components
5. Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
6. Excellent understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Good communication skills for client interaction and reporting
10. Previous experience in a commercial setting is preferred
11. Willingness to undertake further training and development
12. Knowledge of gas safety and compliance regulations is an advantage
