Accountabilities & Responsibilities Line manager responsibility for the Street Works laboratory team. Provide detailed technical advice on all aspects of laboratory and site based tests. Work closely with the site based auditors and working within a tightly regulated and commercially difficult environment. Participate in the development and successful implementation of new Audit and Assurance approaches. Undertake all actions necessary to achieve an efficient laboratory operation – including equipment purchase maintenance, arrangement of transportation of samples and ordering of chemicals, consumables and technical advice/support. Technical Skills & Experience Good understanding of ISO 17025, NRSWA, SROH and all other related regulatory requirements. Good planning and organisational skills - planning and delivery of daily/weekly analytical outputs, including the coordination of internal and external resources. Good problem solving skills, encompassing technical, planning, stakeholder and people issues. Highly skilled in the use of Excel, Word, LIMS, PowerPoint and other relevant data handling tools and software. This role may not be eligible for the visa sponsorship Qualifications NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline in line with entry to Membership of a relevant professional body. Ideally Supervisors NRSWA Qualification, covering all aspects of construction, monitoring, supervision and auditing of Streetworks with an up to date ID Card.
