Your role: The responsibilities with the role will be to support the Health & Safety Manager provide professional advice, guidance, support and training in matters relating to health and safety in respect of employees, activities and workplaces and monitor the company’s compliance with health and safety requirements. You will also help develop policies, procedures and working practices that satisfy the legal duties placed on East Suffolk Services relating to occupational health and safety. What you will need: Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, methodical and easy to talk to, with great investigation, analytical and communication skills. The skills and experience we need is as follows: Previous health and safety knowledge and experience Previous experience in highlighting areas of poor Health and Safety performance and providing advice on safe working practices Experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures Experience in developing a health and safety investigations NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification, or NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 for the higher career grade.
