ROLE SUMMARY Your role as a Finance Apprentice will be to provide essential support to the Payroll and Finance teams within the business. Full training and support for the role will be provided at all times. Key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to: • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. • Update payroll records by entering changes in rate, duration, location, client information, and contractor details. • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information. • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. • Gather and analyse payroll data; make recommendations and prepare various payroll reports to be submitted to your Manager. • Raising Sales invoices and payment applications and posting invoices. • Bank Reconciliations. • Raising Remittances and emailing to suppliers. • Printing off reports on a weekly basis. • Invoice and Payroll Reconciliation • Any other administration and support duties to support the team KEY SKILLS • Ability to process invoices with minimum supervision. • Strong communication and influencing skills. • Strong numerical skills • Planning and organising • Basic/Moderate Excel skills • CRM and organising/or Payroll experience is desirable (full training will be given to the successful candidate) • Excellent attention to detail & ability to work to tight deadlines THE APPRENTICESHIP Deploy Recruitment Group offer a fully funded apprenticeship scheme that runs alongside your day-to-day role. The apprenticeship offers practical programmes that develop knowledge, skills and behaviours that increase confidence, competence and abilities. You will receive full support throughout the apprenticeship with a personal coach dedicated to your development as well as a dedicated line manager within the business that will provide guidance and structure. You will have access to a full suite of online learning resources, technology and discussion groups. You will be enrolled within the first eight weeks of employment, and typically the apprenticeship will take between 12-18 months to complete. Once complete, you will receive a formal qualification. Please note enrolment into an apprenticeship requires minimum academic criteria, which can be discussed prior to attending an interview Hours of work will be Mon- Fri 08.30-17.00 The place of work will be located at our Office in Farringdon, Greater London.
