Building Sciences a division of EDP part of RSK Group are looking to hire a Test Engineer, you might be an experienced airtightness/acoustic professional, or looking to move into a more varied and exciting field of site testing and validation. This role will be Permanent and full time. Above all you will have a passion for quality and a desire to deliver compliance within the built environment. Based from our Hemel Hempstead or Glasgow offices, as part of our Building Sciences business you will help deliver our range of accredited building compliance/diagnostic services to some of the major companies in the UK construction industry. Whatever your level of knowledge, you will soon find yourself confidently delivering our solutions led services directly to our clients. You will ideally possess working knowledge of current construction design and technology and/or a strong desire to learn, and experience of airtightness testing (at least to level 1 ATTMA accreditation). Similar experience of acoustic testing would be of benefit and open up greater opportunities. Main Responsibilities Assisting the Building Science team in measurement of airtightness, acoustic and thermal performance including site-based testing and desk-based calculation, or undertaking in-situ monitoring and evaluation of environment and component performance Taking a lead on site liaising with client teams and scheduling daily work activities.
