A rare opportunity for a Conveyancing Team Leader has become available with this leading Leeds firm offering hybrid working.
The successful Conveyancing Team Leader will manage a Lender Only Purchase Team who deal with equity release and separate representation matters on behalf of the firm’s lender clients.
This role would particularly suit a Licenced Conveyancer/CILEX or qualified Solicitor with extensive knowledge and experience of Conveyancing who is either looking to take a step up into a Team Leader position or who already has Team Leader experience.
Duties will include:
1. Monitor appropriate system work records to ensure that all work is progressed to meet productivity targets
2. Monitor individual performance, quality, and productivity
3. Continually monitor the team’s performance against monthly conversion targets and communicate progress to the team
4. Management of holiday and absence in the team
5. Act upon issues concerning performance, time-keeping, absence, and holidays promptly and appropriately
6. Facilitate regular team meetings
7. Conduct return to work interviews when team members return to work following an absence
8. Conduct all 12-week reviews for new team members
9. Conduct monthly one-to-one review meetings for all team members
10. Ensure that Personal Development Plans for all team members are developed, acted upon, maintained, and reviewed
11. Ensure that all team members receive ongoing coaching, training, and development
12. Be involved in the resolution of discipline/grievance/performance issues in line with the firm's policies
13. Respond to client/service queries or complaints at the initial stages in line with the internal complaints procedure
