Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3 Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Salary: £12.90 - £14.00 per hour We are looking for a committed and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students in a vibrant school environment. This is a temporary full-time role, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning and development. Responsibilities Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties. Organise and prepare learning materials for classroom activities. Support classroom management and supervise students during lessons and activities. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers. Support students with emotional or behavioural needs, creating a positive learning environment. Essential Qualifications and Experience Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Current enhanced DBS check. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school. Strong understanding of the national curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisational skills with the ability to adapt to individual student needs. Desirable Qualifications First Aid certification. Training or experience in supporting students with special educational needs. Working Environment This role involves working closely with teachers and students during school hours. You may be required to support students with a range of learning abilities and needs.
