The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a positive work environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirement: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve individual and team objectives. Monitor team performance, set clear goals with the help of the Commercial Manager, and provide regular feedback. Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure workflow efficiency. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct team meetings, training sessions, and team coaching. Address and resolve team conflicts or performance issues professionally. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards. Analyse performance metrics and generate reports for management. Serve as the point of contact between the team and upper management. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. To deal with escalations in the most effective manner possible. Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB Experience within the construction industry, preferably. Experience in leading a growing team. Organisation skiIls. Ability to communicate effectively written and verbally. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to adapt to various different types of customer.
