We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Training Coordinator to join us at Scotland's leading Dental Group on a full-time basis. Clyde Munro is a fast-paced organisation, expanding across Scotland, and we are now looking for a Training Coordinator to support the day to day running of our Advanced Dentistry and Clinical Skills Centre in Perth. Job Role
To coordinate and deliver training throughout the group for clinical and non-clinical roles. The role will focus on working with a clinical team to support creating, implementing and running development programmes and an annual course calendar. The primary aim of the role is to deliver appropriate training for our teams and coordinate our training programmes group wide and oversee the running of our Perth Training Centre. The role will involve coordinating courses, managing the promotion of courses and attendance to maximise the efficiency of our training academy.
This role will require a level of clinical knowledge in a dental environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the running of internal training programmes across the group, supporting with building in-house programmes and coordinating the Strive Trainee Programme, Flying Start, Best Foot Forward and Therapist Programme.
2. Create an annual CPD calendar for Clinical and operational teams that provide areas of interest for all clinical teams.
3. Manage key training providers with the plan to have preferred providers for nursing specialisms.
4. Overall management of the new Academy in Perth through scheduling and coordinating training events.
5. Manage the promotion of the annual schedule of training courses for our new Academy in Perth and oversee communication of the centre and training activities internally and externally.
6. Coordinate speakers and administrate contracts and profiles required to collate all details for upcoming courses.
7. Upload and update training courses booking platform.
8. Liaise with trainee dental nurse providers to ensure updates on progress and support required.
9. Support and attend events to promote the training academy and courses.
10. Develop relationships with external course providers and the Academy partner Dentsply Sirona to produce a portfolio of courses to offer to both internal and external candidates.
11. Support the Clinical team with dental associate development plans through the use of training courses based on feedback and associate requirements.
12. Create CPD certificates.
13. Track and monitor training budgets.
14. Assist in costing and setting appropriate pricing structure for internal and external use of our training centre.
15. Assist the operations team in learning and development requirements.
Experience:
* Passion and drive for training and development.
* Experience in organizing events or managing teams.
* Demonstrable skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Skills and Knowledge:
* GDC registered is preferred due to clinical setup for courses.
* An ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is vital.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
* Ability to cope with various projects.
