Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry, North Bucks OA CMHT
We are looking for a 1 WTE consultant psychiatrist to provide clinical leadership to the North Bucks OA CMHT. The Consultant will provide senior medical input and clinical leadership to the North Bucks OA CMHT. Their population catchment area extends from the area surrounding Aylesbury to the more rural north of the county and Buckingham area. The post holder will have their own list of GP surgeries. The population covered takes into account the fact that the post does not include in-patient responsibilities (except as cover).
Duties will consist of out-patient appointments (including a memory assessment clinic), domiciliary visits and assessments into patients' homes and care homes in the area; providing support and advice for staff and teaching where appropriate. Please note this list is not intended to be exhaustive. The post holder will have responsibility for those patients seen by himself/herself, together with those patients seen by medical staff directly supervised by the post holder.
