About the role.
As the Team Leader- International/ Online Assessments, you will be responsible for managing relationships with international centres and customers, supporting growth and allocating workload. This will include:
* Leading the planning and management of international examination tours and delivery of online assessments on a global basis.
* Overseeing the International Operations team, providing leadership, supporting and line managing a team of examination coordinators.
* Managing relationships with international centres and customers.
You and your team will be responsible for key areas of assessment such as:
* Organising the logistics of international tours, from booking travel and accommodation to managing visas and coordinating examiners.
* Pre-planning tours and schedules for academic years.
* Supporting customers, examiners and stewards in the use of online technology.
* Liaising with the Allocations and Date Booking teams.
* Ensuring an effective key account management structure.
* Recommending process improvements and systems developments to improve the efficiency of the examinations department.
Who we are looking for.
We are looking for a self-motivated person who possesses both administrative and supervisory experience and is keen to advance their career and lead a team to success. Coming from a background in logistics and planning, such as managing tours, international events, or international examinations, you will be the central point within the team to gather requests and information and plan successful international examination tours.
With excellent communication skills, you will be proactive in contacting centres, customers and examiners globally to discuss their requirements, problem solve and confirm requests. Previous management experience and an ability to take the initiative to meet strict deadlines across a number of simultaneous projects are advantageous.
