Job AdvertMencap are recruiting for a Communities Programme Lead on a permanent full time basis (37.5 hours per week) The role will be home based, but with a requirement to travel to other locations to visit local project teams. The post holder will be working with communities across England to support local people to find solutions and test new ideas, to local challenges and problems they face. The existing portfolio of work provides peer support networks, training for families and matching for volunteers to support people to get out and about in communities. The post holder will provide leadership to teams delivering this activity as well as working collaboratively with colleagues to extend work in communities through existing models or new pilots.
