Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing based in Teesside with the appointment of Legal Assistant on a 12 month FTC. You will be supporting the legal and compliance team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generating legal matter numbers and tickets, producing engagement letters
* Executing of documents including identifying signatories, sending hard copy documents to signatories for execution and emailing them to chase for signature
* Obtaining authorisation for invoices, obtaining further information, purchase order requisitions, recording, coding, submitting for payment and checking late payments
* Arranging notes and translations and board meetings
* Scanning corporate documents
* Assisting lawyers with sending audit response to litigation where requested
* Travel arrangements and bookings, processing of monthly expense reports
* Global system administration of the legal contract management system
You must have a good understanding corporate functions, excellent administrative skills and previous experience within a legal department or firm.
