Bravo Occupational Therapy ( are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist assistant (or two!) to join a team that is passionately committed to empowering children, young people, and families through relationship, sensory and play focused approaches. Bravo Therapy provides a range of therapeutic and community services across Gloucestershire for children and their families, in Early Years, mainstream and specialist settings, and at clinic. You will be an experienced professional with children with special education needs. You will provide play, sensory and relationship focused therapy sessions under the guidance of the lead occupational therapist. The Paediatric Occupational Therapist assistant will work closely with the lead occupational therapist.
Normal Place of Work: Hybrid face-to-face and online working. Contractual Terms: Self employed
Fees: £20-£35 per hour dependant on qualifications/experience
To work individually with children, adults and or family groups using a variety of methodologies, including online at times, within your scope of practice.
· To work in a variety of settings that might include clinic, schools, Children’s Centres or other external premises approved for the work of the organisation. Delivery may also be online from home at times.
· Provide therapy sessions under the guidance of the OT.
· Deliver OT programmes for clients which are affecting the children’s participation and occupational performance in home and school settings.
· To keep up to date clinical records, complete all required outcomes testing programmes including baseline measures, and upload to database or submit these to Bravo Therapy administration in the required timescales as required according to protocol.
· To actively assess any safeguarding risks and report these immediately to Bravo Therapy Safeguarding Officer, to complete all required Cause for Concern forms and submit these in a timely manner.
· To keep up to date CPD records and to attend any training days provided by the organisation, unless otherwise agreed with the line manager.

· To act as an ambassador for Bravo Therapy.
· To be a car owner (or have other means of transport) to enable travel between locations and to hold a clean licence and be covered by business insurance, subject to the provisions of the Equality Act 2010
· You will be subject to an enhanced check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Monday to Friday (Term Time Only mainly if required) with some flexibility around hours to support the provision of Occupational Therapy
