YOUR ROLE
Become an essential part of our Planning and Development Team, where you'll play a key role in planning and managing our operated storage network capacity. Your responsibilities will include maintaining precise measurements of warehouse availability and utilisation. You'll also assist in analysing inbound and outbound commodities and materials that could impact the network. Plus, you'll work closely with Storage Operations personnel to help plan and execute our storage network strategy.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Obtain, maintain and publish on a monthly basis the current position of capacity levels and space availability, identifying risks and issues and potential solutions.
* Monitor resourcing issues with regards to manpower, Technical Resources, MHE and storage.
* Assist with the process of stock placement across the storage
* When necessary collect, collate and analyse capacity and product data
* Escalate points of concern in the storage, receipt and handling of material to the relevant point of contact
* Update IT systems in line with product & stock holding warehouses
* Ensure all necessary information is supplied to both the Planning and Development Team and Operations Managers
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
* Working knowledge of MS Office applications relevant to the role, i.e. PowerPoint, Word and Excel
* Exceptional planning and organisational skills
* This role would suit a service leaver/Veteran with previous supply chain experience
* Excellent communication skills to understand and interpret customer storage requirements
* Forward thinking approach with the ability to analyse information
