Pertemps Bristol Industrial are currently recruiting for a Panel Wirer, on a temporary basis, for one of our clients based in Midsomer Norton BA3.
* £18.00 per hour PAYE
* £23.33 per hour payment via Umbrella
* Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
* Free parking on site
* Temporary Contract
About the role
* Prepare components, drawings, tools and working area to ensure an efficient build
* Production of control panels
* Assembly of components and cabling to meet design requirements
* Accurately and logically following schematic diagrams
* Crimp and Lug ends of cables to the relevant standard using the correct calibrated tool
* Liaising with manager on missing components and recording and reporting any mistakes found
* Using appropriate tools to securely fix components to the backplate
* To safely move motor control centres and steel frameworks around the workshops
The right candidate
* An experienced and confident electrical wirer with significant panel build experience
* Testing experience
* Good communication skills
This is a temporary contract with a duration of 2 to 3 months. Possible extension until the end of the year for the right candidate.
