Job Description:
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming conceptual ideas into tangible, innovative designs. You will collaborate with various teams, utilising computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate technical drawings and models. Your role will involve conducting simulations, analysing designs, and optimizing them for efficient production. Working closely with the production team, you will ensure that designs are not only innovative but also practical for manufacturing.
The Design Engineer will also contribute to research and development initiatives, working on the latest technologies and materials to advance product capabilities. You'll be expected to manage your own projects and apply your problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality designs in line with client requirements.
Skills & Experience:
1. 5+ years experience in a Design related role.
2. Apprenticeship up to degree level in an engineering discipline.
3. Experience of stress analysis and FEA simulation.
4. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
