Candidate

For this role in particular, the firm is looking for someone who has strong experience in Rural practice and is passionate about developing their career.
The duties of the role include:
* Buying and selling rural property like farms, estates, fisheries and forestry
* Providing clients with relevant and current market advice on renewables, telecoms, rural diversification and telecoms
* Dealing with contentious and non-contentious agricultural matters like termination of agricultural leases
* Looking at historical cultural elements of rural property such as crofting
* Monitoring registration applications for important estates and landowners.
* Historical research on the purchase of baronies and heraldry.
* Discuss terms with utility companies on statuary rights, acquisition and development of assets.
As a senior member of the team, you will be encouraged to network with clients, developing existing and new relationships. Furthermore, you will have responsibility for the development of junior team members. The experience you will gain in this senior capacity will be excellent preparation to step up to Partner level in due course if of interest.
