People come first in this business; it’s all about team leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement in a high volume, automated factory technical role.
This is a business that looks after its people. Structured development plans without boundaries, even if you want to grow your skills in an entirely different sector of the business, all will be agreed from the outset.
This role will be ideal for a highly experienced Quality Manager ready to step up or a Technical Manager from a smaller business keen to be part of the SLT. It’s a highly automated site, where the factory will be your domain. And although you’ll be joining a major PLC, this site has a warm, family feel to it.
The most important part of the role is all about people leadership and stakeholder engagement. It reports into the Site Lead who has fostered a ‘results through people’ culture.
OPEX and quality assurance are the drivers here. Your focus is on leading by example through optimisation, waste reduction and continual improvement with rigorous technical and quality controls. Innovation through sustainable packaging development will also sit with you, where you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact the business’s environmental footprint.
You’ll have two direct reports: the Quality Manager who enjoys analysing data and is process-driven, along with a highly experienced Laboratory Manager who leads a team of eight Lab Technicians.
Qualified to degree level in a Food Science, with HACCP level 4, if you have food manufacturing experience at QM or TM level, working to BRC standards, you should apply.
The best leaders know that results are achieved through strong teamwork, so if people and uncompromising quality, technical and food safety standards share equal footing in your world, send your CV today to start the journey.
