Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation, cutting, and display of fresh halal meat and poultry products.
Ensure the quality and freshness of all meat and poultry by following food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory of halal meat and poultry.
Train and supervise butchery staff to deliver excellent service and maintain product quality.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the butchery area.
Minimise wastage through effective portion control, stock management, and proper storage practices.
Ensure butchery staff are following health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Butchery Manager a retail or wholesale environment.
Strong knowledge of halal meat and poultry products, including cutting, handling, and preparation.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
