What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Portfolio Manager to join our Cardiff office on a permanent basis.
The team takes responsibility for looking after the composition and construction of all client portfolios, including stock selection and asset allocation. The right candidate will be professional and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and develop.
What will you do?
* Utilise your understanding of portfolio management and build knowledge through exposure to client portfolio management scenarios.
* Produce robust portfolio proposals and analytical information in support of colleagues in advisory roles under the supervision of more senior Portfolio and Investment Managers.
* Assist the Portfolio and Investment Managers in ensuring portfolios are constructed in compliance with TCF principles.
* Work closely with the Research team to understand their investment guidelines.
* Support Investment and Portfolio Managers to track funds against client’s objectives and risk profile.
* Assist in preparation of review and new client meeting.
* Supports senior team members as required to contribute to completion of tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard for the team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Broad understanding of portfolio management.
Nice-to-have
* Working towards or attained CISI Level 7 Wealth Management Masters or equivalent.
