Salary: £28,000 - £29,000
Hours: 550 hours per week
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Qualified or equivalent
Driving License: Full Driving Licence Required
Purpose of the Role
1. To positively support the Registered Manager with the effective management of the Home Care business on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all regulations, policies, and procedures are adhered to for the health, safety, and well-being of the clients and staff.
2. Working with the senior management team and other colleagues to develop and enhance Home Care to be a care provider and workplace of choice.
3. Leadership of the Care Support Workers within the Home Care team to enable them to be the best they can be for the benefit of themselves and the clients.
Responsibilities
1. To ensure that you are up to date with all relevant regulations, legislation, and best practices in relation to care provision.
2. Communication of policies, processes, practices, and business goals for Home Care.
3. Provide leadership to the senior teams within Home Care to ensure all functions are well led, staff are managed appropriately, and clients are receiving the best person-centred care.
4. Carry out an assessment of care needs of the client, plan, and implement appropriate care in consultation with the client, relatives, appropriate person, and the wider care team when required.
5. Conduct reviews of client needs and service delivery in a timely manner.
6. To produce and maintain accurate, concise, and timely records of client care.
Qualifications Required
1. Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent, is essential.
2. Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Experience Required
1. Minimum two years' experience of working in Health and Social Care.
2. Minimum of one year's experience in a senior or leadership role required.
3. Experience of using MS Word and Outlook are essential.
