Lincolnshire Community Health Service NHS Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our enthusiastic and driven service. We are looking for a motivated band 5 therapist to join our forward-thinking and supportive team.
We currently provide a 5 day service in the community and are moving towards a 7 day service in the acute service. This post would be across our acute team based at Lincoln County Hospital and in our community team which encompasses a variety of locations.
Main duties of the job
The team provides a service to inpatients and outpatients and also works on a domiciliary basis covering a number of specialisms, including voice, aphasia, dysfluency, dysphagia, progressive neurological conditions, and AAC.
We are highly committed to professional development and evidence-based practice, with support available within the service from a range of clinical specialists. There is regular access to clinical supervision and CPD including countywide skill-sharing groups, and all staff participate in service improvement initiatives.
About us
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is in the top 25 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2021 NHS National Staff Survey.
At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS' workforce.
LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments.
